Very early in his career as an artist, Bruno Rousselot, born in 1957, began working on site-specific projects. Nonetheless, the picture remained a core concern and accounted for a large part of his output during his New York years (1987-1997). Du dessin à l'espace takes as its starting point I. n° 0, the painting installation dating from 2013, financed by France's 1 % for Art scheme andinaugurated in 2014 at the Hotel Dupanloup in Orléans. This book brings together all the artist's site-specific works and wall paintings and situates them in relation to his painting and drawing practice.
