Réalisée par John Henry Renshawe en 1914 ou 1915, cette carte fait partie d'une série de vues panoramiques de plusieurs parcs nationaux, commandée par l'institut géologique des États-Unis (USGS). Il s'agit ici d'une une vue panoramique aérienne de Crater Lake, lac de cratère du volcan Mazama, au coeur du parc national du même nom. Produced by John Henry Renshawe in 1914 or 1915, this map is part of a series of panoramic views of several national parks, commissioned by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). This is a panoramic aerial view of Crater Lake of Mazama Volcano in the heart of the National Park of the same name. Innovative in his use of a gradual shaded relief, Renshawe allows us to better perceive the different dimensions of the landscape by highlighting the topography, meanders, vegetation, snow, and so on.
