The Gospel of Dahut according to Yann Dac'h A Laez is an unusual reinterpretation of the Breton epic of the city of Ys.

Dahut is the daughter of King Gradlon, who built the glorious city of Ys or Ker-Is for her. Ys, where she could freely continue her pre-Christian sinful lifestyle. Mocking the pious Saint Guenole, while still worshiping her ancient gods. Tempted by the Devil himself, she floods Ys and is punished by God who turns her into a mermaid. A punishment that makes Dahut even more monstrous than she was in human form, for through eternity she continues to seduce innocent sailors with her lustful song...

But what if Dahut was actually not this personification of Evil, but a charismatic woman with original, contrarian ideas, and who started to have too many followers than was good for her ?
