Marie-Françoise Plissart poursuit aujourd'hui son enquête sur sa ville à partir du haut des tours. Ici, le caractère radical de la démarche se traduit dans le format panoramique qui veut tout saisir, et porter l'énergie des flux d'un bord à l'autre du territoire de l'image. La puissance des compositions naît du choc entre masses et trajectoires, des tensions entre bascules et contrepoints, en un traitement quasi pictural du motif urbain.
Marie-Françoise Plissart today pursues her own investigation into the city from the top of the towers. Here, the radical character of the process translates into the panoramic format which longs to capture everything, and carry the energy of the flux from one side to the other across the territory of the image. The power of the compositions is born from the collisions of masses and trajectories, tensions between levers and counter-balances, in an almost pictorial treatment of urban motifs.
Marie-Françoise Plissart zet vandaag haar onderzoek naar de stad verder vanop de torens. Hier komt het radicale karakter van haar aanpak tot uiting in het panoramisch beeldformaat, dat alles wil omvatten en de energie van de stromen tot uiting wil doen komen van de ene tot de andere rand van het beeldopperviak. Bij een haast picturale behandeling van het stadsbeeld, vinden de beelden hun kracht in de botsing tussen volumes en banen, in de spanningen tussen kanteling en tegengewicht.
