Il a été dessiné par les architectes de PlanOI.
Ce collectif se consacre exclusivement à des sujets « ouverts », rétifs à la norme, des sujets qui sont parfois orphelins comme celui des espaces funéraires.
Ce livre est un portrait en creux, une succession de cartes blanches offertes à deux photographes et un auteur.

Circles in a clearing, a game of rings and thresholds, flowing paths leading to a multitude of escapes, a spiritual and peaceful place for moments of contemplation. The Rennes Métropole crématorium is a unique building which speaks of death but addresses the living.
