The third most visited city in the world, Paris makes people dream all over the world with its lifestyle, its history and its beauty. And yet, little is know still about its inhabitants and visitors. Humans of Paris puts them in the spotlight, and shows their diversity: every day, for the last three years, a portrait of a stranger, met randomly, is posted on the web, accompanied by a short dialogue between the photographer and his subject. This book is an exceptionnal compendium on paper of this work. The 450 previously unpublished portraits gathered here reveal a capital city that is multiple, alive, surprising, always reinventing itself - above all, human.
Marco Hazan a co-fondé la célèbre page facebook Humans of Paris en 2012. Une façon de conjuguer sa passion pour la photographie avec son intérêt profond pour la personne humaine. Aujourd'hui étudiant en droit, il continue de poster tous les jours un nouveau portrait et une nouvelle histoire sur son site humansof.paris ainsi que sur divers réseaux sociaux. Le projet Humans of Paris est suivi par plus de 250 000 personnes dans le monde.
Marco Hazan co-founded the famous Humans of Paris facebook page in 2012. A way to combine his passion for photography with his deep interest in the human being. Nowadays a law student, he continues to post every day a new picture and a new story on its website humansof.paris and on various social networks. The Humans of Paris project is followed by more than 250,000 people around the world.
