Dental surgeon by profession, Joe Bunni has been diving for over twenty years and capturing underwater landscapes with his camera. His particular angles and perspectives combine the immensely large with the infinitely small, blurring the traditional boundaries and the way we see both the ocean depths and the creatures which inhabit them in a painterly, oneiric vision of a world that, although still largely unknown, is already threatened. This work is an invitation to plunge into a dreamlike world while at the same time affording awareness of the dangers with which this unseen universe is imminently faced.
