Cette édition bilingue du texte L'épouvantable petite princesse de Geneviève Damas a été réalisée à l'occasion du Congrès mondial de l'Institut International du Théâtre, organisé à Xiamen (Chine) en septembre 2011. Ce projet est une initiative du Centre belge de l'IIT mise en place en partenariat avec Lansman Editeur.
Le roi René et la reine lrène se désespèrent de ne pas avoir d'enfant jusqu'au jour où finit par naître Adélaïde, une vilaine petite princesse râleuse ! Mais trop tard : si on change son caractère, il faudra aussi changer le titre de l'histoire. Et ça, l'auteur n'y tient pas. Alors... faut faire avec ! ! !
This bilingual edition of the Genevieve Damas text The Horrid Little Princess was created on the occasion of the World Congrès of the International Theatre Institute, organized in Xiamen (China) in Septembre 2011. This project comes from the initiative of the ITI Belgian Center, which was put in place in partnership with Lansman publisher.
King René and Queen Irene are desperate because they cannot have a child until, finally, they give birth to a little princess. Bad luck : she is nasty and grumpy ! But it is too late : if we change her character, the title of the play will have to be changed too ! And the writer does not want it. Then... we must make do with it.
