The ultimate intimacy
Thirteen years ago, Santillo set out to reveal the diversity and creativity with which women approach self-stimulation and to portray the beauty of ordinary women in the throes of orgasm. From young to old, slim to thick, perfect beauties to those not considered beautiful until seen through his lens ; the one constant is that each decided and directed how she would masturbate to climax while he captured the moment. Dian Hanson interviewed 37 of his 60 subjects ; their candid insights about achieving orgasm in front of a stranger with a camera provide a framework for Santillo's lush, sepia-toned photographs. Will Santillo a étudié la photographie au MIT sous les auspices de Minor White et a travaillé dans les domaines de la mode, de l'entreprise, de l'architecture et de l'érotisme. Will Santillo studied photography at MIT under Minor White and has worked in the fields of fashion, corporate, architectural, and intimate photography. His photos appear in The Mammoth Book of Erotic Photography, Taschen'sThe New Erotic Photography, and in the monograph Flagrante Delicto.
The Editor and Author
