Château La Tour Carnet, a Médoc Grand Cru Classé, is of authentic mediaeval construction and one of the most ancient of the Bordeaux region ; which is little known.

This is why the author of this study, a member of the Montesquieu Academy after having situated and described the estate, has tried to reconstitute its history going back to the 13th century and to evaluate its outlook at the dawn of the 3rd millenium.

C'est pourquoi l'auteur de cette étude, membre de l'Académie Montesquieu, aprés avoir situé et décrit le domaine s'est efforcé d'en reconstituer l'histoire depuis le XIII^ème siècle et, d'en évaluer les perspectives à l'aube du 3^ème millenaire.
