For this book Eduardo Kac has chosen to encounter philosopher Avital Ronell, who has gone beyond traditional philosophical themes to focus her thought on issues such as the telephone, drug addiction, television, tests, stupidity, and the greeting. Both Kac and Ronell provoke the emergence of new cultural practices.
