Jon Gordon Saxophoniste alto new yorkais, il s'est produit avec des figures emblématiques du jazz : Kenny Barron, Peter Bernstein, Dave Brubeck, Ron Carter, Bill Charlap, Barney Kessel, Christian McBride, Bob Mintzer, Joshua Redman, John Scofield, Maria Schneider, Mark Turner, Clark Terry, Kenny et Peter Washington, Phil Woods (avec qui il enregistre un disque à l'âge de 14 ans), etc. En 1996, il a été lauréat de la Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition (dont le jury était composé de Wayne Shorter, Jackie McLean, Joe Lovano, Jimmy Heath et Joshua Redman...).
Johnny Griffin Saxophoniste et compositeur, monument de l'histoire du jazz (surnommé «The Little Giant»), il a notamment joué avec le Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, Wes Montgomery, Nat Adderley, Kenny Clarke, Eddie «Lockjaw» Davis, etc. Il a dirigé plusieurs quartettes en France (notamment en compagnie d'Hervé Sellin, Riccardo Del Fra et Charles Bellonzi).
Jim Pepper Saxophoniste soprano et ténor, Native American (Indien d'Amérique du Nord). Il a notamment enregistré avec Randy Brecker, Don Cherry, Larry Coryell, Charlie Haden, David Liebman, etc. Michael Brecker reconnaît l'influence majeure qu'il a eue sur lui en ces termes : «J'ai soudain compris certaines choses, à cause des idées et du phrasé de Pepper» (Jazz Hot, n° 396, octobre 1982).
Bobby Porcelli Saxophoniste alto et flûtiste américain, spécialiste de Latin Jazz, a joué avec les meilleurs orchestres et big bands : Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band, Tito Puente, Tom Harrel, Buddy Rich, Thelonious Monk, Mongo Santamaria, Eddie Palmieri, George Benson, Joe Henderson, Cedar Walton, etc.
