Sur l'île de Murano, en Italie, les fornaci des verriers ont donné corps à la collection Vaisseaux imaginée par l'architecte et designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Dans un hommage vibrant à la ville de Venise et à son savoir-faire verrier séculaire, ce sont au total 63 objets déclinés dans différentes finitions - vases, coupes, lampes, miroirs... - qui témoignent de l'excellence du travail du verre et de son incroyable modernité sans cesse réinventée. Photographiées au plus près de la lagune, depuis la Punta della Dogana ou dans le coeur de la ville, ces formes contemporaines, jouant des reflets et des effets de transparence, offrent une vision renouvelée de Venise et de son art de la verrerie.
On the island of Murano, Italy, the glassmaking fornaci have given form to the Vaisseaux art glass collection envisioned by architect and designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Paying vibrant homage to the city of Venice and its centuries-old glass-blowing tradition, the 63 objects in the collection - vases, bowls, lamps, mirrors and more - showcase a range of finishes, reflecting the outstanding craftsmanship of Murano's glassblowers and the incredible modernity of an art form that is constantly pushing back the boundaries of creativity. The contemporary artworks, photographed on the edge of the lagoon, from the Punta della Dogana or in the heart of the city, offer a scintillating play of reflections, light, and transparency, bringing a new perspective to Venice and the city's proud glass-blowing heritage.
Sull'isola di Murano, nelle fornaci dei vetrai, è nata la collezione « Vaisseaux », ideata dall'architetto e designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Appassionato omaggio alla città di Venezia e alla sua secolare maestria artigianale, questo insieme di 63 oggetti di diverse tipologie - vasi, coppe, lampade, specchi... - testimonia l'eccellenza nella lavorazione del vetro e la sua incredibile modernità, reinventata di continuo. Fotografate a due passi dalla laguna, a Punta della Dogana o nel cuore della città, queste forme contemporanee, giocando con i riflessi e gli effetti di trasparenza, ci offrono una nuova visione di Venezia e della sua arte vetraria.
