Vanessa Atlan
Vanessa Atlan was born in Paris in 1971 and has lived in Los Angeles for the past 20 years. She is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores photography, painting, collage, writing, and sound. Trained in art history at the Sorbonne, she draws inspiration from her Mediterranean and American roots to create works rich in poetry, where fiction and reality subtly intertwine. Through her projects, she captures urban atmospheres, particularly in cities such as Naples and Los Angeles, while questioning personal and collective memories. She has published several books as well as a portfolio of lithographs. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Paris, Barcelona, New York, and Los Angeles.
