Danseuse, chorégraphe et artiste, Noa Eshkol est une figure majeure de la danse moderne en Israël, notamment grâce au système de notation du mouvement qu'elle a mis au point. À partir de 1973, elle se consacre également à la création de wall carpets (tapis muraux) et réalise près de 1 800 oeuvres jusqu'à sa mort, s'affirmant ainsi comme l'une des artistes textiles les plus inventives et prolifiques du XXe siècle.

Dancer, choreographer and artist, Noa Eshkol is a major figure in Israeli modern dance, particularly through the movement notation system she developed. In 1973, she turned to the creation of wall carpets and by the time of her death had made almost 1,800 artworks, thus confirming her place as one of the most inventive and prolific textile artists of the twentieth century.
