Il y a dans la démarche photographique d'Alexandre Lamoureux quelque chose qui tient de la réalité effleurant la fiction. Ou l'inverse, c'est selon.... En découvrant Paris par le prisme de ses objectifs, nous sommes invités à le suivre sur les pavés d'un Paris étrangement calme, flegmatique ou a contrario énergisant, pris entre la vitesse de la circulation et l'agitation des néons. En vis-à-vis de quelques photographies, des citations d'auteurs amoureux de Paris suggèrent des pistes de réflexions que toujours l'image dérobe.
In Alexandre Lamoureux' photography there is something that captures a reality caressed by fiction. Or the opposite - it depends. Paris appears through his prism lens, and so we are invited to accompany him along the cobblestones of a city that is strangely calm, unemotional or a contrario energising, caught between the rush of the traffic and the riot of the neon lights.
