Émouvoir, informer et mobiliser le plus grand nombre aux enjeux environnementaux et sociétaux, telle est notre mission. Pour cette 18e édition, nous souhaitons plus que jamais offrir un monde à ré-enchanter.
« Plein Nord » n'est pas seulement l'occasion d'indiquer un nouveau cap pour nos existences déboussolées, c'est aussi de mettre en lumière la puissance créatrice et souvent méconnue de la photographie Scandinave.
Par la diversité de leur approche photographique, explorant pour certains la rudesse de leur environnement, pour d'autres la complexité de nos évolutions modernes, ces photographes venu·e·s du Nord ont en commun un regard mêlé de poésie, parfois teinté de surréalisme, pour éveiller nos consciences à mieux appréhender le monde de demain. Ces artistes sont à leur manière les sentinelles artistiques d'une civilisation positive.

For this 18th edition, bringing some joy back into the world seems more important to us than ever. « Due North » is not only an opportunity to set our unhinged lives back on course, but also to highlight the often little-known creative power of Scandinavian photography. With their diverse photographic approaches - some explore the harshness of their environment white others investigate the complexity of our modern evolutions - these photographers from the Far North share a view mingled with poetry, occasionally tinged with surrealism, but always keen to raise awareness for a better understanding of tomorrow's world. In their own way, they are the artistic sentinels of a positive civilisation.
