Biographie

The Author
Descended from a long line of pottery manufacturers, Bernard Jules Verlingue has worked in different ceramics centers, such as Gien, Digoin, and Longchamp. He became part of the Quimper manufacture as the technical director. In 1990, he created the Musée de la Faïence de Quimper, and it is in this role that he has published and participated in the edition of numerous books and catalogues. In addition, since 1990, he is a certified expert specializing in Quimper pottery (UFE) on behalf of the Hôtel des ventes de Brest.
