De la création éditoriale, au packaging, en passant par la photographie et l'illustration, le style de Takeshi Hamada se réinvente sans cesse. Son esthétisme pointu s'est construit et enrichi au fil des nombreuses expériences qui ont jalonné son parcours hybride. Sa ténacité, sa force de caractère et son originalité lui ont ainsi permis d'être aujourd'hui considéré comme l'un des directeurs artistiques les plus créatifs.
Membre du Tokyo Type Directors Club, il expose régulièrement ses oeuvres par le biais de projets tels que Katana Ink., Gikei et Apartment 001.
Takeshi Hamada's output across editorial design, packaging, photography and illustration suggests an appetite for relentless reinvention. His finely-honed aesthetic sense has been enriched by the many experiments that have lined his hybrid creative path.
His tenacity, strength of character and originality have earned him a reputation as one of the most inventive art directors working today. He is a member of the Tokyo Type Directors' Club, and regularly shows his work via projects such as Katana Ink., Gikei and Apartment 001.

En confrontant de nombreuses influences au coeur de ses créations, Takeshi Hamada s'est composé un univers singulier et audacieux. Son magazine on-line tiger, créé dès 2000, reste son support d'apprentissage et d'expérimentation privilégié. Directeur de la photographie sur le film Blood and Bones de Yoichi Sai, il fut nommé au Awards of the Japanese Academy en 2005.
Takeshi Hamada's designs form a boldly distinctive world in which a myriad of influences converge. tiger, the e-magazine he founded in 2000, is still his lead medium for experimenting and learning. For his work on Yoichi Sai's film Blood and Bones, he was a Best Cinematography nominee at the 2005 Japanese Academy Awards.
