Anne-Marie Guimier-Sorbets is an emeritus professor at Paris Nanterre University and a member of the UMR ArScAn team on Archaeology of the Greek World and Information Systems (Paris I University, Paris Nanterre University, CNRS, Ministry of Culture). She is chair of the International Association for the Study of Ancient Mosaics (AIEMA). As a specialist of architectural ornament, she studies the mosaics, paintings and stucco of Delos and Alexandria.
