Transition is the outcome of the Social Landscape collaborative photography project ; of an exceptional scale, focusing on the land and landscape of South Africa. The project happens at a remarkable moment in time ; almost 20 years since democracy but also 100 years after the Natives Land Act, which restricted black land ownership and belonging that later became a part of the oppressive practices of Apartheid. This project has been made possible through the South Africa-France Seasons 2012 et 2013.
