Quatrième de couverture

The Franks, Merovingians, Carolingians, Capetians, Valois, Bourbons... so many names that have marked our entire history, recalling more or less vague memories of school history lessons. Whether you use it as a reminder or as a practical guide, this work lists the sixty-eight kings of France, from Cloidon le Chevelu (Cloidon the Hairy), born around 400 AD, to Louis-Philippe 1st, died 1850, who have ruled over the destiny of our country. Its genealogical tables, maps and biographical notes complete with portraits, will act as a valuable reference for students, teachers, historical site enthusiasts, or anyone simply wishing to refresh his knowledge of history.
